World Refugee Day
A refugee is a person who “because of a well-founded fear of being persecuted for reasons of race, religion, nationality, membership of a particular social group or political opinion, is outside the country of his nationality and is unable or, because of such fear, does not wish to avail himself of the protection of that country ...”.
1951 Geneva Convention Relating to the Status of Refugees
Queremos dedicar este post de hoy, 20 de junio, a todas las personas refugiadas

Asimismo recordamos lo establecido en los Articles 1 and 14(1), respectively, of the Universal Declaration of Human Rights, which we must not forget:
“All human beings are born free and equal in dignity and rights and, endowed as they are with reason and conscience, must behave fraternally towards one another.”.
“Everyone has the right to seek and enjoy asylum in any country. in case of persecution.”
