Accreditation not having been awarded or subsidized (certain holders authorization stay for studies)
The Directorate-General for Migration Management has just published the Management Criterion 10/2025 regarding the accreditation of not having been awarded or subsidized, on the part of those who are holders of an authorisation for studies, research or training activities or non-work practices granted in accordance with Articles 37(1)(a), (b) or (d) and 43 of the Regulation adopted by Royal Decree 557/2011, of 20 April, when applying for access to the status of residence and work or residence with the exception of work authorization, in accordance with the provisions of Article 190 of the regulation approved by Royal Decree 1155/2024, of 19 November, of which we highlight:

In the light of the foregoing, it is established that the requirement that the foreign person has not been awarded a grant or subsidised by public or private bodies within programmes of cooperation for sustainable development or humanitarian action in Spain or in the country of origin, foreign persons holding an authorisation for studies, research or training activities or non-work practices granted in accordance with Article 37(1)(a), (b) or (d) and Article 43 of the regulation approved by Royal Decree 557/2011 of 20 April 2011 shall not be required to apply for access to the residence and work or residence status with the exception of the work authorisation, in accordance with Article 190 of the regulation approved by Royal Decree 1155/2024 of 19 November 2024..
