Datos estadísticos básicos de nacionalidad a 31/03/2026

The Ministry of Justice (the Subdirectorate-General for Nationality and Civil Status, Nationality Area) has just published the datos estadísticos básicos de nacionalidad a 31/03/2026, both by residence (including files pending resolution per claim year) as per nature letter (Article 21 of the CC) or by Law 12/2015 of 24 June 2015 on the granting of Spanish nationality to Sephardim originating in Spain.

Data relating to Spanish Nationality Acquisition Procedures

In order to comply with the principle of active publicity established in Law 19/2013, of 9 December, on Transparency, Access to Public Information and Good Governance, the Subdirectorate-General for Nationality and Civil Status publishes, TRIMESTRALLY, data on applications for procedures for the acquisition of Nationality by Residence, Law 12/2015 (Sephardic) and Letters of Nature (Article 21 of the CC), without official statistical processing , from various sources and management applications.​

For information on statistical treatments of the National Statistical Plan disaggregated according to different classification variables, you can go to the web pages of the INE and the Immigration Portal of the Ministry of Inclusion, Social Security and Migration where there are different official statistical operations with origin of data provided by the Ministry of the Presidency, Justice and Relations with the Courts:

9874 Statistics on Spanish Nationality Concessions by Residence. Prepared by the Permanent Observatory on Immigration of the Ministry of Inclusion, Social Security and Migration.

The entry data corresponding to the Procedure in force since October 15, 2015 of Nationality by Residence are not definitive and may suffer variations, due to being in the process of digitization and recording applications submitted without using the Electronic Headquarters.
